The IR Awards, organised by HKIRA and held for the tenth year, are aimed at commending best IR practices and recognising outstanding IR professionals from Hong Kong-listed companies. Nominated by the public, the awards are selected through balloting by domestic and international buy-side and sell-side analysts and fund managers.

First launched in 2001, Directors of the Year Awards were the first awards of its type organised in Asia. It has now become an annual event that influences the community. Directors of the Year Awards 2010 and 2011 have adopted the theme of “Better Corporate Performance through Strengthened Corporate Governance” and “Enhancing Director Professionalism through Board Self-Appraisal” respectively. The objectives are to recognize directors and board of directors for outstanding directorial practices and corporate governance, and their on-going bid to promote good corporate governance and professionalism in Hong Kong.
