1. What is a REIT?

A REIT is a real estate investment trust which owns a portfolio of physical real estate. Investment in a REIT is equivalent to investing in these assets. Income net of expenses divided from the assets are distributed to investors on a regular basis in the form of dividends.
2. How do I invest in Fortune REIT?

You can buy Units in Fortune REIT, which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Singapore. For investors outside Singapore, please consult your local professionals who may deal in securities listed in Singapore.
3. Can I use my Central Provident Fund ("CPF") savings to invest in Fortune REIT?

Units in Fortune REIT cannot be purchased using CPF funds, nor a combination of CPF funds and cash.
4. Is Fortune REIT an authorised unit trust scheme?

Yes, Fortune REIT was on 4 Jul 2003 , declared an authorised unit trust scheme under the Trustees Act, Chapter 337 of Singapore, thus qualifying as an investment permitted to be made by trustees and certain other persons with similar investment powers in Singapore.
5. In what currency is Fortune REIT denominated?

Fortune REIT is denominated in Hong Kong dollars.
6. Do I need to pay any tax on these dividends?

Fortune REIT will distribute 100% of its net Tax-Exempt Income, free of Singapore income tax to Unitholders.
7. What is the reporting frequency on Fortune REIT?

Fortune REIT reports on a quarterly basis, with distributions made half yearly (for the half year ending Jun and Dec).
8. How often are dividends paid?

They are paid semi-annually. We anticipate in February and August of each year, subject to changes.
